Bike Safe is a nationally supported road safety initiative offering new riders a full-day workshop combining classroom learning and real-world experience. Led by trained police motorcyclists and accredited observers the course covers topics like hazard awareness, cornering, filtering, overtaking, group riding and more. All you need to take part is your own motorbike, a full UK or restricted power licence is required, and you will need to bring it and insurance/MOT certificates. Want to know what people thought of the course? “From the outset, the course was excellent. The presentation was well delivered, and the depth of knowledge demonstrated by the full-time police motorcyclists was exceptional”.
“It was a great insight into improving my safety and riding ability therefore confidence. I've lived and ridden in my area for more than 25 years and thought I'd been down every road and track around - but at several times I was managed to be completely lost, happy that I have found more 'must ride' roads. I wanted to be a smoother, safer and therefore faster road rider which I think I am”.
“All in all, a great course for riders of all levels and I would highly recommend it.”
